hey sorry to bother you but I just wanted to know what something like "the beatles and monkees slash" means. Does it mean pictures of them together or yea Im not sure but I really want to know what the who slash thing is

Hey Anon. You’re not bothering us at all…well, “slash” refers to pairing up two members of the same sex in a romantic or sexual light. People have sometimes asked us who we would “slash” The Monkees with (each other, members of The Beatles, members of The Who, other ’60s musicians), so when we give those long text answers, that’s what it’s about. Pictures can be slashy, too, although in the case of the Monkees and Beatles, usually it’s subversive, or something you only see if you look closely. We don’t know of any particular slashy pics of the Monkees with any of the Beatles (other than Mike staring at John Lennon like a fanboy and the one we posted of Mike and Ringo staring at each other adoringly), but if anyone does, please feel free to share.
